Make an impact, volunteer with Sections
The success of our Sections relies on the expertise and active contributions of Section executives. These volunteers are essential to the work we do at CBA PEI every day. They contribute time, knowledge, leadership and inspiration.
In return, volunteers gain experience and opportunities to make a difference.
Volunteer opportunities
Every year in May, CBA PEI sends an email to members to call for volunteer Section executive officers. Opportunities with each Section include:

Section Chair or co-Chair
Time investment
We encourage volunteers to get actively involved in our Sections. You can anticipate a time commitment of two to three hours per month. This includes:
- Planning and running one to two Section meetings per year
- Providing input on local legislation
- Drafting brief reports for the AGM and Mid-Winter meetings
- Updating Section members on noteworthy items as needed
A section Chair term runs for two years from September 1 to August 31.
